The National Urban Park, which is the first of its kind in Finland and only the second National Urban Park in the world, is located in Hämeenlinna. On 4 August 1968, the great film director Alfred Hitchcock was looking for locations and scenes in Hämeenlinna. A journalist from Hämeen Sanomat, a local newspaper, who had been invited to accompany the director, wrote an article about this visit. By visiting the same destinations, you can get to know Hämeenlinna as the master director did.
